One of the ‘big four’ literary festivals in Britain. Over 350 writers flock to the famous university city to discuss all things literary, political, historical, environmental and culinary over the week long festival, which is hosted by Christ Church College and across the city.
There are plenty of events and speakers during the festival but some of the talks do sell out so advance tickets are recommended. Details of the speakers are on the festival's official website (link below)
Getting there: Oxford is easily reached by train from London Paddington. Trains run regularly and take just over an hour. If driving, we recommend using one of the 'park and ride' services on the edge of town and then taking the bus in.
