Set in the lovely surroundings of Henham Park near Southwold, every year Latitude offers an interesting selection of musical talent, steering away from the ‘acts of the moment’ that are found at many of the other music festivals around the country.
This year’s headliners are Portishead & Noel Gallagher. More details about the many other acts performing can be found on their website (below). As well as the main music stages, the festival also includes a range of arenas, stages and spaces showcasing a mixture of comedy, film, dance, theatre, literature, poetry and cabaret talents.
For adults, day tickets cost £84.50.
Getting there: The festival recommends arriving by public transport. From London, you can take the train from Liverpool Street to Diss (1 hour) form where a connecting bus takes you to the festival ground (another hour) or a coach from Victoria Coach Station directly to the ground (3 hours).
If you do decide to drive, car parking is available near the site and included in the price of your ticket. More details on transport options can be found on the festival’s website.
